The Jamaica Dogwood is just starting to bloom – 2010 looks like a good Spring. The cold spells last Winter gave the bees a late start, but they seem to be making up for lost time J We have made some Spanish Needle and Gallberry and we have pulled the Palmetto and Goldenrod from the over wintered colonies. Seagrape this Spring wasn’t all that good - but Black Mangrove time is almost here J We have helped to start several new beekeepers and they are doing very well. Remember, in November we start the beekeeping classes at Mike |
